The IBA Buying Group focuses on building strong, long term relationships with a carefully selected group of Preferred Suppliers. Our aim is to maximise support, visibility and value for every supplier we work with. For this reason, we do not overcrowd any single product category, but we are always open to conversations with companies who can offer genuine value to our Members.
If you believe your products or services can enhance our current supplier portfolio, we would be pleased to hear from you. You can view or download our current supplier list at any time. If you feel you can provide stronger value, improved service or a product range that stands apart, please complete the enquiry form or contact us directly by phone or email.
We are also interested in suppliers who offer solutions not currently represented within the group. If you operate in a new or emerging area relevant to the electrical wholesale sector, we encourage you to get in touch.
If you already supply some of our Members, please include this information when you contact us. Member endorsement is an important part of our assessment process.
How to Become an IBA Preferred Supplier
Becoming an approved supplier to the IBA follows a clear three stage process:

Commercial discussion
You will work with our Chief Executive Officer, Paul White, to outline a proposed commercial agreement that benefits both your business and our Members. -
Electrical Committee review
The proposal is then reviewed by the IBA Electrical Committee, which is made up of Member representatives. -
Full Membership approval
The final decision is made through a democratic vote by the entire Membership.
